COVID 19 Safety Measures

We take our guests’ health seriously. That’s why we’ve provided our host with the following COVID-19 safety and sanitization protocols, so our guests can book Venue House properties with confidence.

1. Free Rescheduling or Cancellation

For the duration of the State of Emergency, guests can cancel or reschedule reservations up to 24-hours in advance, penalty free. To cancel or amend a booking, contact the property owner or your Venue House agent. Please note that rescheduled dates must be approved by the host.

2. Standard Cleaning Protocol

All Venue House properties are always maintained to the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene. We require our hosts to do the following before each new guest arrives:

Thoroughly clean the venue
Clean common areas with guest access, such as kitchens, bathrooms, and entrances
Clean dishes, silverware, and other amenities, if provided
Remove garbage

3. Enhanced Cleaning for COVID-19

In addition to the above measures, Venue House has put together a list of guidelines for hosts to follow, based on CDC best recommendations for protecting hosts and guests against the spread of COVID-19. These include:

Supply a hand washing station with warm water and soap, and/or hand sanitizer with 60% alcohol or higher
Limit guest numbers per state and local guidelines and restrictions
Factor additional time between guest bookings to allow for more thorough cleaning
Disinfect the venue between guests, paying particular attention to high-touch areas such as switch plates, door handles, and faucets
Use EPA-approved cleaning solutions tested against COVID-19

4. Guest Responsibilities

We can all play a part in helping reduce the spread of the coronavirus. The CDC recommends following the below guidelines:

Social Distance. Keep at least six feet from anybody who doesn’t live with you.
Wear a mask. Masks should cover your nose and mouth whenever indoors with others or in close proximity outside.
Increase indoor ventilation. Opening windows and doors can help to reduce the risk of transmission.
Wash your hands. Wash your hands using warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds, or use a hand sanitizer with 60% alcohol or higher.
